Internet Episode and Others

We cannot resist from the need of internet in our daily life. All things are connected in a system which is hardly avoided, meant as the causes of various social problem without our consideration. We are the part of that system. With no opposing action, our country was annexed, rights elimination, while we are too busy with our domestic goals, schools, education, divorce, jobs, children who are busy playing at yard, all things related to food, unfinished president election. We are the nation which is colonized and have nothing. Colonized without opposing action.

The performance artists; Iga Ayu Chandra, Galuh Tulus Utama, and Iwenk Abdillah acted the confrontation of political party about the president candidates whom should be chosen.

Education system implements repeated learning with zero result except for repeating result. History is made by a winner.

Internet is the tongue of God which controls the social system.

 HOUSE-VITAL was performed in Wonorejo Mangrove Park, Surabaya city, East Java, Indonesia. On April 16, 2014 this performance was exhibited with Ilham J. Baday, one of a performance artist from the same city.

Galuh Tulus Utama's performance in one of daily newspaper in Surabaya, Sindo 

In criticizing the bump of soybean price (as the basic ingredient of Tofu), Galuh Tulus Utama and several artists from Solo (Center Java Province) and Surabaya conducted a performance art to represent the bad-luck destiny of Tofu sellers.

The alphabets "Tahu" in the middle of the artists written with Tofu flakes.

Performance Red Bridge: A Silent Bridge by Galuh Tulus Utama

In this chance, Galuh Tulus Utama performed in a historical bridge, named Red Bridge or "Jembatan Merah" located in Surabaya city, East Java, Indonesia. This performance commerated The National Revival in Indonesia

Performing at The Largest Mud-flow in The World, LAPINDO

Galuh Tulus Utama, together with five artists from East Java province, performed in the largest mud-flow named Lapindo. It has been held in Sidoarjo, East Java, Indonesia at October 11th, 2012. For almost five years up to now, Lapindo released hot mud and covered five villages. Ten thousand people has been relocated into new settlement and the villages are remained into a mud-field.

Galuh Tulus Utama and Iwenk performed in front of W.R. Soepratman's Cemetery

Galuh Tulus Utama performed in front of W.R. Soepratman's cemetery held by Art Council in Surabaya at March, 10th, 2014. This performance held as the celebration of the election for new chairman of art council in Surabaya. At the same day, it coincided with music national day in Indonesia and the council selected the cemetery of W.R. Soepratman for the place as the indication of first performance after the new chairman in Surabaya art council elected.
